Overview
As Microsoft continues to push the boundaries of AI, we are on a mission to build systems with true artificial intelligence across agents, applications, services, and infrastructure. Our vision is bold and inclusive: to make AI accessible to all, so that everyone can realize its benefits.

The Copilot Product Infrastructure team is at the heart of this transformation. We build and scale the cloud infrastructure that powers Copilot, Microsoft’s most ambitious AI-native product experience. From traffic engineering and scalable compute to experimentation platforms and release systems, we design the infrastructure that enables thousands of engineers to ship AI-powered features with speed, safety, and precision.

We’re tackling some of the most complex challenges in cloud infrastructure at scale, and we’re doing it with an AI-native approach from the ground up. Our systems are purpose-built to support frontier model integration, rapid experimentation, and global deployment across Microsoft’s consumer products.

We collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and AI research teams to empower every Copilot team to bring cutting-edge AI research to production. Our work directly shapes how AI reaches millions of users, and we’re growing fast.

We’re looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Program Managers who are passionate about AI and deeply proficient in scaling backend technologies. In particular, we’re looking for individuals who:
  • Have deep experience with cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes, CI/CD, traffic routing, and experimentation platforms.
  • Thrive in environments where they partner closely with engineers, SREs, and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable systems.
  • Take initiative and enjoy navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Are comfortable owning programs that span offices, teams, and time zones, coordinating across workstreams and relentlessly unblocking progress.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for improving developer velocity, system resilience, and operational clarity.
  • Are excited to build infrastructure that’s designed from day one to support AI-native development, with the scale, agility, and reliability that frontier models demand.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
