We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Copilot AI that will operate at the crossroads of product development, customer insights, and research, shaping the evolution of transformative AI solutions. This role demands deep technical fluency, strategic execution, and the ability to scale programs efficiently in a fast-moving environment. You will lead high-impact initiatives, optimize workflows, and ensure alignment across teams to accelerate product development. This role requires a balance of technical skills and effective people collaboration skills.

By applying to this U.S. Mountain View, CA OR Redmond, WA position, you are required to be local to the San Francisco OR Seattle area in office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

Technical Program Ownership & Execution

  • Proactively problem solve across engineering teams and shape architecture decisions, optimize system performance, and mitigate technical risks.

  • Drive cross-functional technical initiatives in service of business goals, ensuring seamless integration across infrastructure, product features, and operational workflows.

Cross-Team Leadership & Influence

  • Act as a technical bridge between engineering, product management, and business teams, ensuring cohesive execution.

  • Advocate for scalable development practices, balancing innovation with operational efficiency.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Leverage product telemetry, performance metrics, and customer insights to refine technical strategies, identifying opportunities for optimization.

  • Ensure measurable impact on quality, scalability, and user experience.

Program Execution & Risk Management

  • Own technical program execution, mitigate cross-team dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of product features and infrastructure improvements.

  • Design best practices for program governance, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and operational standards while balancing executional optimization.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • Proven experience leading complex technical programs with cross-functional dependencies.

  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in data-driven decision-making and program optimization.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, driving clarity and execution in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on large-scale product development.

  • Experience working with engineering teams, translating technical requirements into scalable implementations.

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or platform engineering.

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, driving alignment across product, engineering, and business teams.

Technical Program Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 – $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 – $258,000 per year.
