• Leverage expertise in AI safety to uncover potential risks and develop novel mitigation strategies, including alignment techniques, constitutional AI approaches, RLHF, and robustness improvements for large language models. 
• Create and implement comprehensive evaluation frameworks and red-teaming methodologies to assess model safety across diverse scenarios, edge cases, and potential failure modes. 
• Build automated safety testing systems, generalize safety solutions into repeatable frameworks, and write efficient code for safety model pipelines and intervention systems. 
• Maintain a user-oriented perspective by understanding safety needs from user perspectives, validating safety approaches through user research, and serving as a trusted advisor on AI safety matters.
• Track advances in AI safety research, identify relevant state-of-the-art techniques, and adapt safety algorithms to drive innovation in production systems serving millions of users.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Microsoft Monetize AI-powered features, focusing on publisher productivity and demand optimization.
• Partner with engineering, design, and business teams to define, build, and launch new AI tools for workflow optimization, performance and targeting insights, troubleshooting automation, and demand generation.
• Lead usability reviews and collect publisher feedback to ensure seamless integration of AI features and continual improvement of user experience. 
• Develop and execute go-to-market and customer adoption plans, including presentations at industry events and creation of support resources for publisher success.

• Manage customer communities, build trust with key publishers, and act as an advocate for their needs within Microsoft.

Qualifications

Overview

The Microsoft Edge Browser Security Team is responsible for securing Edge client code. Our work broadly fits into three distinct categories: Engagement, Proactive, and Reactive security. We work closely with developers, engaging with them to ensure principals such as defence in depth and secure by default are architected into everything we do. Additionally, we perform proactive vulnerability research and analysis at scale to highlight high risk attack surfaces and identify security bugs before hackers do. Finally, we ensure that our reactive response flows are monitored and maintained, tracking reports from external finders, and working with threat intelligence teams to stop active threats to our customers. Throughout all of this, you will work with our industry partners to contribute security improvements to the Chromium project to make the web safer for everyone.

As a Senior Security Engineer in Edge Browser, you will be expected to have knowledge and experience of cybersecurity principals. Ideal candidates will have or quickly obtain a technical knowledge of code audit, fuzzer development, crash analysis and web security. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to adopt an adversarial mindset, finding creative ways to break assumptions, identify gaps, and bypass security functions. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 12+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience leading cross functional product teams across advertising, privacy, search, conversational AI, or generative AI.
• 5+ years experience delivering products that include full Search and/or Advertising technology stack.
• 5+ years experience with data analytics and experimentation tools with working knowledge of SQL and coding skills (Python, Javascript).
• 7+ years of experience building Ads products.
• 5+ years of experience in monetization products and B2B.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines. 
• Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.

Product Management IC6 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 – $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 – $331,200 per year.
