Starting January 26, 2026, MAI employees are expected to work from a designated Microsoft office at least four days a week if they live within 50 miles (U.S.) or 25 miles (non-U.S., country-specific) of that location. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction.
Responsibilities
Maximizing/Extending the Leader
- Provides highly strategic calendar management based on deep knowledge of business and executive needs, while upholding the highest degree of integrity and maintaining confidentiality.
- Creates, builds, and manages the annual rhythm of business (ROB) with the executive, including the fiscal-year calendar and executive meeting schedule. Informs ROB strategy; uses discretion to determine and drive execution plans as well as align ROB and resource needs.
- Works with Executive Travel to coordinate travel arrangements for the Executive Office. Creates detailed itineraries/agendas for daily activities by setting and managing travel expectations to maximize trip productivity. Drives proactive communication across stakeholders ahead of travel and communicates with domestic and international stakeholders to ensure the supported leader maximizes business trip outcomes.
- Develops relationships to establish a network of business and technical decision makers across lines of business. Builds working relationships with project stakeholders and business partners.
- Leverages knowledge of the leader’s goals and approach to ensure team activities are aligned with the leader’s objectives. Supports the leader in communicating key goals, priorities, and definitions. Maximizes a culture to support and represent the leader and team. May provide perspective and a point of view to the leader on specific areas inside the organization and with regard to communications, budgets, people, and the team pulse. May assist in informing tactical business decisions for leader. Supports the landing of organizational changes (e.g., employee data management, skilling plans, landing quota).
Organizational Health
- Tracks the use of role-based compliance trainings and new trainings, as well as leading collaboration on culture initiatives (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion [D&I], hiring, onboarding) while partnering with Human Resources to do so. Drives the training completion rates. Plans and executes trainings. Ensures a healthy compliance scorecard for the team.
Special Projects/Programs and Initiatives
- Contributes to cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment. Engages in project management efforts.
Specialty Responsibilities
- Partners with the communications team to land internal content. Communicates relevant information to the organization as required.*
- Gathers information to support development of storytelling content to articulate strategies, results, and goals for internal and external forums (e.g., external or customer meetings, executive meetings, and event presentations). Synthesizes findings within the workstream and identifies links to broader strategic efforts for content and external-facing thought leadership. Carries out related reporting and exception management as required.*
- Analyzes performance metrics to support accountability for the team in executing core business activities. Participates in discussions representing the leader.*

- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 3+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.

Business Management IC3 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 – $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 – $168,000 per year.
